Community Garden Update: Late Spring Snowfall - May 23, 2013
A late spring snowfall blanketed the Community Garden and gave a chill to the few crops that had already been planted. We arrived to find our young bell pepper plants covered in snow, but seemingly no worse for the wear.
Protected by the Reemay cloth we had used to cover them, our tomatoes showed no signs of damage.
With summer still a month away, a late spring snowfall, in Montana, was not all that surprising.
